May 7, 2008 - This site focuses on "shop & dine" businesses in Claremont California along a two-mile stretch of Foothill Blvd. (aka historic Route 66) from just east of Claremont Blvd west to Towne Ave.

Currently there are several renovation and new construction projects underway -- but please businesses in these areas remain open.

Sprouts Farmers Market (located in the former Ralphs market site) is Now Open.

Old School House site at Foothill and Indian Hill Blvds is being remodeled. New businesses are beginning to open --- 415 W. Foothill Blvd.. Longtime businesses continue to stay open.

• A new, three-level, 242 space parking structure has been approved for west of the Candlelight Pavilion, north of the former Claremont Inn lobby. This area of the former hotel is to be converted into residential units
• Candlelight Pavilion facade will be remodeled in a 1930's Art Deco style
• West elevation of the Old School House is being renovated
